On its territory, there are 9 nature reserves, of more than 20,000 hectares of land: Boatin, Tsarichina, Kozya Stena (The Goat Wall), Steneto (The Little Wall), Severen Dzhendem (North Dzhendem), Peeshti Skali (Singing Rocks), Sokolna, Dzhendema, and Stara Reka (Old River).
