There are numerous historical, but, above all, nature landmarks in the area. Nearby are the Kazanlak Thracian Tomb and the Tomb of King Seuthes III - The Big Kosmatka. The Byala Reka (White River) Eco-Trail is also suitable for people who have little experience in hiking or trekking. Tazha Gorge offers breathtaking views of some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bulgaria.

Tomb of King Seuthes III, Thracian mound "Golyamata Kosmatka"
In 2004, 12 km from the city of Kazanlak, the tomb of the Thracian king Seuthes III was discovered.
Shipka Monastery "Birth of Christ"
The gold-plated domes of the church of the Shipka Monastery (aka Memorial Temple) of The Birth of Crist shine from afar and entice travellers into visiting.
Kazanlak Thracian Tomb
Every Bulgarian has studied about it at their primary school - the Kazanlak Tomb with its magnificent frescoes was discovered in 1944.

Botev Peak
The highest peak in Stara Planina (the Balkan Mountains), 2,376 metres, can be climbed in one day if, of course, you have some experience in mountain trekking and climbing.
Kademliysko Praskalo and Babsko Praskalo Waterfalls
Two waterfalls worth seeing are Kademliysko Praskalo and Babsko Praskalo.
Tazha Gorge
The gorge is 10 km long and its average altitude is 800 m. It starts not far from the Tazha Rest House and is entirely on the territory of the Djendema Reserve.
Byala Reka (White River) Eco-Trail
A trail with spectacular mountain scenery and an easy one – it is suitable for less experienced hikers and beginners. It is 1.83 km long and at its highest point, it is 630 metres above sea level.
Central Balkan National Park
It covers the central and highest parts of the Balkan Mountains (Stara Planina) and has nine nature reserves on its territory.
